The one thing
01GitHub ran a critical incident for 1h 29m on Sunday morning. The rest of the window produced one release.
GitHub opened a critical incident at 09:16 UTC on 13 Sep and resolved it at 10:45 — 1h 29m of degraded availability across API Requests, Issues, Pages and Pull Requests. GitHub has promised a root cause analysis and has not published one yet. Anything that drove the GitHub API through that window — CI, review bots, agent harnesses that clone, comment or open pull requests — failed inside it.1
OpenAI logged three incidents in the same 24 hours, all resolved and all short: Codex GitHub Review and pull request failures, 0.5h, minor, from 09:26 UTC Sunday; elevated errors for ChatGPT users in Europe, 0.9h, minor, from 16:56; and elevated error rates for Codex and ChatGPT Work, 1.2h, from 02:46 UTC this morning, impact recorded as none.345
Shipped
01Cline desktop 0.0.27 · sign-in errors, sign-out, OpenCode Go routing
Published 22:28 UTC 13 Sep. An expired sign-in renders one actionable error with a fix button, replacing a detail-less bubble stacked over a banner. Sign-out of Cline and Cline Pass now sticks; the runtime had been re-importing credentials from the classic extension on every command. OpenCode Go models work again — requests were missing the x-opencode-session header and per-model adapter routing was discarded, so Muse Spark, GPT and Grok models expecting /responses, and MiniMax/Qwen expecting /messages, returned internal server errors. Crusoe added as an OpenAI-compatible provider.2

The conversation
01The window was quiet, and two of the six layers cannot corroborate that.

No 14 Sep digest. A live pulse across six practitioner subreddits returned zero posts in-window at any comment threshold, including one.7

04OpenAI customer story — Perplexity on GPT-6 Astra A vendor publishing a customer's praise for the vendor's model. No number a reader can check, no availability change.
Homebrew 7.0.0 A real major release, 580 points on HN. Off the beat — a package manager, not a tool for building with models.
GitHub trending: 50 on-beat repositories, 0 admitted Skill directories and harness collections with heavy star counts. The watchlist rule needs three trending days in fourteen and two releases in ninety; none of them cleared it.
Anthropic Claude Code weekly limit moving to 125% today Carried from Friday as promised, not shipped. We could not find a vendor page confirming it took effect this morning, so we are not printing it as a fact.
