The one thing

01

GitHub ran a critical incident for 1h 29m on Sunday morning. The rest of the window produced one release.

GitHub opened a critical incident at 09:16 UTC on 13 Sep and resolved it at 10:45 — 1h 29m of degraded availability across API Requests, Issues, Pages and Pull Requests. GitHub has promised a root cause analysis and has not published one yet. Anything that drove the GitHub API through that window — CI, review bots, agent harnesses that clone, comment or open pull requests — failed inside it.1

OpenAI logged three incidents in the same 24 hours, all resolved and all short: Codex GitHub Review and pull request failures, 0.5h, minor, from 09:26 UTC Sunday; elevated errors for ChatGPT users in Europe, 0.9h, minor, from 16:56; and elevated error rates for Codex and ChatGPT Work, 1.2h, from 02:46 UTC this morning, impact recorded as none.345

VERDICT · USE IT — Nothing to install beyond Cline desktop 0.0.27. Re-run any GitHub-dependent job that failed between 09:16 and 10:45 UTC on Sunday before you spend time debugging it.

Cline desktop 0.0.27 · sign-in errors, sign-out, OpenCode Go routing

Published 22:28 UTC 13 Sep. An expired sign-in renders one actionable error with a fix button, replacing a detail-less bubble stacked over a banner. Sign-out of Cline and Cline Pass now sticks; the runtime had been re-importing credentials from the classic extension on every command. OpenCode Go models work again — requests were missing the x-opencode-session header and per-model adapter routing was discarded, so Muse Spark, GPT and Grok models expecting /responses, and MiniMax/Qwen expecting /messages, returned internal server errors. Crusoe added as an OpenAI-compatible provider.2

The conversation

01
The claim — including ours

The window was quiet, and two of the six layers cannot corroborate that.

From the floor
  • X digestsDid not run · newest file collected 05:30 UTC 13 Sep, ~24.5h at masthead

Neither the account roster folder nor the keyword folder holds a 14 Sep collection. The X layer did not run for this window.6

  • RedditLayer empty

No 14 Sep digest. A live pulse across six practitioner subreddits returned zero posts in-window at any comment threshold, including one.7

  • Hacker NewsSwept · primary

45 stories above 40 points in 24 hours, none on this beat. Homebrew 7.0.0 led the developer items.8

Our take

One release and one critical outage are what the primary sources support today.

Releases: 28 repos, sweep complete, authenticated, 1 non-prerelease in-window. Vendor feeds: 12 sources, sweep complete, 5 items (4 incidents, 1 announcement). Hacker News swept above 40 points. X digests stop at 13 Sep 05:30 — the X layer did not run today. Reddit: no digest, live pulse zero posts. arXiv not swept.

End of feed. That is everything from the window worth your time.
Next issue tomorrow, 06:00 UTC — and if nothing ships, it will say so in two hundred words.

Still developingClaude Code weekly limit was promised at 125% of the old standard from today, unconfirmed on any vendor page as of 06:00 UTC. Copilot seat charging and model cutover land 1–2 Oct. Claude Code stable still trails latest.
