The one thing

01

Plannotator can keep the agent working while you review. Approval still has to bind to a version.

Plannotator 0.28.0, published at 00:50 UTC today, connects its review window to the session that opened it. In supported Claude Code and Pi sessions, a review returns control to the agent and delivers the decision later. Ask this session uses that session’s existing context. 1

The Claude Code mod requires 2.1.287 or later in the interactive terminal. Plan mode stays on until approval; a decision on an older plan is refused and the review reloads the newer text. Older Claude Code, headless and SDK sessions, and Windows keep the classic flow. Update the binary and plugin separately. 1

Test a plan revision while review is open, then try approving the earlier version. Close and resume the session too: approval needs to reach the right session with the exact text you reviewed.

Update, 19 October: on 13 October, u/TalShapiro described Codex rewriting a whole plan after feedback, making changes hard to track. 5 In reply, u/BrookLi3 reported better results keeping the plan in repository Markdown and reviewing its diff. 6 These accounts illustrate the review problem; neither tests Plannotator’s asynchronous flow.

OpenRig 0.6.5 enables network for some Codex seats

Default workspace-write Codex seats can now receive network access when no explicit choice or managed requirement prevents it. Set network_access = false under [sandbox_workspace_write] if isolation is required. Named profiles and explicit policies have separate behavior; the vendor notes limited real-login and Linux testing. Check effective configuration before upgrading. 2

Promised, not shipped
A 28-day Codex/Work ship-or-reset pledge was announced; eligibility terms remain unspecified.

The conversation

01
The claim — including ours

A promised usage reset is a poor reason to start disposable work.

From the floor
  • @thsottiauxVendor announcement

On 4 October, @thsottiaux promised a broadly useful Codex/Work improvement each day for 28 days, or a full usage reset. The post supplies no eligibility terms. 3

  • @Angaisb_User question

On 4 October, the user asked how to spend 97% of their Codex usage in the remaining 4.5 hours. The post records the incentive to consume quota, without a task or an accepted result. 4

Our take

Queue work with an acceptance check. A quota deadline can change timing; it cannot tell you what should be built.

These posts establish the announcement and the user’s question, not reset eligibility or productive output.
