xAI ships Grok Bot beta: always-on agents with their own cloud computer, on SuperGrok Heavy and Cursor Ultra/Teams Premium.
Grok Bot is live in early beta.1 Each bot gets a dedicated cloud PC, signs into the tools you already use, runs multi-step jobs end to end, and only returns when something needs approval. Desktop and iOS today; access is SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium. Enterprise is a waitlist.
The pitch is fleet, not chat: bots in parallel, a chief-of-staff pattern, bots messaging each other, routines learned by watching you once. Same coordination problem Cursor's Origin review layer aims at from the other side — neither is a default coding seat yet.
real product on paid tiers. Try one end-to-end job on your own tools before you trust the seat. Skip if you are not already on Ultra or Heavy.
Deeper — what is open, what is gated
- Primary is xAI's own post dated with the launch; third-party writeups match the plan gates and the cloud-PC claim.1
- No public price for the bot alone — it rides the host subscription. SuperGrok Heavy and Cursor Ultra are the expensive seats.
- Cursor Origin (agent-oriented git/review) was still waitlist-facing on the product surface this morning; secondary reports say partner beta and Codebase/Review tabs, not a GA host you migrate to today.2
