Cursor’s iOS remote control leaves execution on your computer.
Cursor’s 6 October release lets its iOS app show and reply to local agents. Sign in, choose the computer and approve pairing in the desktop app. Remote Control is on by default outside Enterprise; Enterprise admins can enable it. 1
Execution stays on your computer. It must remain powered on and online. Cursor’s keep-awake setting requires power and the lid open. The phone provides another place to steer an existing task; the computer’s power and connectivity still determine whether you can reach it. 1
Try a real interruption: send a change from the phone and inspect the resulting diff and checks on the machine. If work must continue after the laptop sleeps, choose an execution environment that provides that persistence.
Pair a machine for remote steering; make its power and connectivity requirements part of the task plan.
