Cursor’s new bundle shares Grok usage. Claude and GPT are billed separately.

The 12 October launch introduces The X Subscription: Grok, Cursor and X benefits in one plan. Its listed monthly tiers are Plus $8, Premium $30, Super $100 and Ultra $200. Existing subscribers can keep their current plan; switching rolls out by account. Launch prices rechecked on 19 October. 1

The included pool covers Grok usage across the products. Claude and GPT usage is billed separately at API list prices through prepaid credit. Compare your actual model mix before switching: a larger Grok allowance does not replace a third-party-model budget. 12

Cursor’s help page, checked again on 19 October, says account unification is permanent and Support cannot undo it. Existing plans continue unless you change or cancel them. Review the checkout terms and account selection before switching. Current documentation does not establish when every clause first appeared. 2

Keep the last bill and a model-level usage export as the comparison. If you mostly use third-party models, price that workload separately and include any automatic top-ups. The bundle’s headline allowance is an incomplete estimate of what the next month will cost.

Update, 19 October: on 16 October, u/Popular-Penalty6719 reported moving from Pro+ to Super and using almost 70% of the weekly pool in under a day; their previous Grok Bot allowance usually lasted five days. The thread provides no usage export or matched workload. It illustrates why to compare model-level consumption, without establishing that the new plan is universally worse. 6

Wait

Keep the current plan until the model-level budget and permanent account changes are clear.
