Plannotator can keep the agent working while you review. Approval still has to bind to a version.
Plannotator 0.28.0, published at 00:50 UTC today, connects its review window to the session that opened it. In supported Claude Code and Pi sessions, a review returns control to the agent and delivers the decision later. Ask this session uses that session’s existing context. 1
The Claude Code mod requires 2.1.287 or later in the interactive terminal. Plan mode stays on until approval; a decision on an older plan is refused and the review reloads the newer text. Older Claude Code, headless and SDK sessions, and Windows keep the classic flow. Update the binary and plugin separately. 1
Test a plan revision while review is open, then try approving the earlier version. Close and resume the session too: approval needs to reach the right session with the exact text you reviewed.
Update, 19 October: on 13 October, u/TalShapiro described Codex rewriting a whole plan after feedback, making changes hard to track. 5 In reply, u/BrookLi3 reported better results keeping the plan in repository Markdown and reviewing its diff. 6 These accounts illustrate the review problem; neither tests Plannotator’s asynchronous flow.
touch only the flagged sections and leave everything else byte-identical.
Try it on one supported session; verify stale-plan rejection and resumed decision delivery.
